I went to my local shop in SoCal and decided it was time. After doing exhausting research and reading many many many opinions from this website, I made my first gun the P-01. Of course, I have to wait until next Saturday to take delivery... but I am excited. I will post pictures when it arrives.

Here in Ireland the process is a tad longer...for my 1st gun, my CZ452, from the time I paid the deposit and got my receipt from my Gun Dealer... then signed form at local Police Station.... then that form went to Police HQ for background check etc... it was 6 weeks! But for my Pistol licence it took TWO & 1/2 months!

THAT is insane. i had to have a place order one for me since they didn't stock it, but the next day they called me to tell me my p01 had arrived. 30 minutes later i was at the store, and 15 minutes after that i was on my way home with it and a few boxes of ammo pretty lucky, i guess, all things considered.

It was supposedly out of stock, but when I arrived at the gun store there was one in the case for $500. Needless to say, I snapped it up, and am very happy with the looks and feel of this gun. It only took me less than 30 minutes from the time I said "I'll buy it" to the time I walked out of the store with my new "baby".
