Great range report, and I'm enjoying the "armed family" photo! Look forward to hearing more about the custom SP-01 as it breaks in (I just picked a stock SP-01 Tactical up myself, last night).

Just turned 10. Nicholas is my daughter's son. He burned up .22 ammo as fast as I could load mags. I shoulda just taught him to load his own.

Finally got a chance to shoot my CZ75 SP01 Custom again and she got a good workout with absolutely no problems at all. Had a family and friends shoot pistols day with my son and daughter and spouse and boyfriend, me and my wife and a friend and his wife at the friend's farm. Seven young and old folks plus one grandson, all shooting pistols and rifles and having a high ol' time. IMHO, the CZ75 was the star of the show. The girls thought it was too heavy until they shot it and all loved...

CZ arrived back from Angus' Custom Shop on Monday and finally got a chance to shoot it today when I went to an outdoor gun shop range to try out another gun. Out in the country all by myself so I let the CZ rip after trying out a .44 Special revolver.

Ripped off two 19-rd. magazines without a bobble. Had some aluminum cans flying all over that place with 38 rds. of 9mm chasing them around! Thanks Angus, you...

A friend shot my CZ Custom in Pittsburgh over the Christmas holidays and this is one of his targets from 25 yards offhand. He's pointing to a group of five linked together, with a single "flyer" marked with a "3" about an inch above the ragged-hole group. That is some fine shooting offhand at 25 yds.

One of these days, I hope to be able to shoot that good....

Ever figure out why you had FTF? Was it hard primers or something else? The reason I ask is a shooting buddy bought a SP01 on my recommendation and has been having problems with the firing pin not being centered all of the time. Seems it gives his gun a FTF too. BTW, the proper immediate malfunction drill for a FTF is to tap rack then fire. A restrike won't do anything in case of a poorly seated magazine (the cause of most failures to fire, resulting from an empty chamber) and if the...

The Blade Tech Drop-Offset holster I ordered with my CZ75 SP01 Custom arrived today.

It's a range holster as I can't imagine I'll be carrying this full-size 9 unless it's in a shoulder holster. It's not only long with its 4 3/4" barrel but the butt is long...

Angus Hobdell don't mess around. Ordered a CZ75 SP01 Custom from his site Wednesday night and Friday morning at 10, it arrived at my local FFL. Picked it up as soon as I got off work at noon (love those early Fridays), came home just long enough to snag my range bag and off to the range.
