New Diamond Checkered Grips for the Full Size CZ 75's

We have the new Aluminum grips with the new diamond checkered pattern in stock.
We are very happy the way they have turned out and they really increase the grip surface.
We are working on another "Super Aggresive" set where the diamonds will come to a point and a Set with a grip tape insert.

CZ P01 now NIJ approved

Found this list of tested and approved sidearms today.

The CZ P01 is now on the NIJ approved list, so some LEO's, department permiting, may now use it's acceptance as a basis for choice of duty sidearm.

CZ75 compact and WWB ammo

I purchsed a slightly used CZ 75 Comp a couple months ago. When I took it to the range I had a box of 100 WWB and 250 rds of my reloads. I had several problems with feeding with the WWB with one bullet that would not even chamber. When I switched to my reloads I shot 250 rds with no problems at all.
When I got home --I did some measuring. The OAL of the WWB is about 1.165 while most other factory ammo is about 1.100. I do my reloads at 1.100. Does the longer length of the WWB cause...

Hi CZ, I first fell in love with the 452 on RimfireCentral. Seeing pics led me to collect 6 of them and I have been very pleased. Unfortunately I have been frustrated by images of these beautiful curly maple stocked guns that are no longer available!! Do you by chance have a stock or gun in the back I can talk you out of?
If you would like to do some market research for a stainless SP01 I would like to volunteer myself as a test subject. Heck I would even buy the ammo!

Hi CZforum!, I have been visiting this site for several months, and figured I should join to discuss these great guns with you all. My CZ addiction began with the 452, then a 75 SA with Kadet conversion. A big fan of the AK design, I had to aquire the refined (and even better designed) VZ58. This year I caught the SP01 bug. Great guns, great service from Angus, and a wonderful display at the NRA Convention this spring. Looking forward to discussing a variety of topics with you all.

steel guide rod?

Maybe I'm just out of the loop, but are CZ's supposed to come with steel guide rods? I used to have a CZ 75 compact, and I know it had a plastic guide rod. I just picked up a CZ 75 BD this week and it has a steel guide rod. There is an "07" on the slide next to the import mark and serial number, so I'm guessing that is the year of manufacture. Am I right? Do the fullsize guns always come with steel guide rods? It doesn't make much difference to me as long as it...

After shooting this rifle for about two months now, I feel that I can write an honest review.

What first caught my eye on this rifle in the gun shop was the wood. It's an absolutely beautiful piece of beechwood with a well defined grain pattern.
Now to better understand the reviewer here, I should tell you that I've owned several .22Lr rifles over the years from cheap junk all the way up to a Weatherby Mk XXII, and this CZ Trainer has got to be the best all round...

CZ ....a model 75BD. I chose that model due to the decocker--being a Sig fan obviously that was a logical choice.

Any updates on the availability of the SP-01? I have a deposit placed for one of these here in California since April and have been told by CZ-USA that a shipment is due in July. Today they said there are none and the next shipment will be in October.

Being a new owner of a CZ I wanted to get a trigger pull like my S&W 39 or 1911 ,Well by following the write ups of other owners on this forum I have reached that goal.I now think this CZ can shoot with any of the others mentioned . Dry firing - do any of you do this consistently and have you seen any damage or problems cause by doing this without snap caps? Opinions elsewhere seem to be all over the board but if someone can say they dry fire a lot with/without problems, I'd sure like to know about it....

Hey guys! I've been a long time lurker and at one time owned a CZ 75 compact. Sadly, I made the mistake of selling that pistol, but after over 2 years of NOT owning a CZ pistol, I am finally back in the club! Yesterday I picked up a brand new CZ 75 BD from Jason here on the forum. I almost forgot how good these pistols feel in the hand! I'm going to clean her up today and hopefully get out to the range this weekend. Afterwards I will post a range report and pics. I'm hoping...
